In her third year of working as an adult, the protagonist (Nana) had grown tired.
She could not sleep well at night, and she was only barely managing to make it home each day after work despite her poor physical condition.
One day, when she returned home feeling light-headed...

She found her childhood friend Yuu at her home, where no-one was supposed to be as they had left for a vacation. Supposedly, he had been asked by Nana's mother to eat dinner with her.
It is the first time in a while that Nana has seen Yuu, and he's changed quite a bit. A little trouble by how to interact with him, she nonetheless feels somewhat warmed by his company and their casual conversation.

When she discusses with Yuu about her inability to sleep well, he recommends that she try out VR sleep, and she decides to give it a go.
While is able to fall asleep, Nana encounters her former besty (a character from an otome game) in her dreams, who flirts with and makes moves on her...
